2017: A prophetic insight to begin the New Year

As the year 2017 begins, you are already aware that there are things on Father’s agenda for your life.

Helen CalderYou know that in order to embrace what God has for you, there are some things that you need to shake off. You are challenged to step up. There are things that you have tolerated, that need to shift—strongholds that need to come down and territory to take back.

There are challenges up ahead—and yet destiny calls. There are people to help. There is creativity to tap into, and authority to step up into. There are gifts of the Spirit to pick up and a mantle to wear.

There is a rugged pathway ahead.

But wait. In this moment, see Jesus. He stands on the pathway, and in this instant, you have an opportunity. An invitation.

The Holy Spirit is unveiling the eyes of your heart, to see Jesus as you never have before.

See Jesus as You Never Have Before

‘But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.’ (2 Cor 3:18)

In Matthew 17, Peter, James and John saw Jesus as they had not seen Him before: ‘And His appearance changed dramatically in their presence; and His face shone [with heavenly glory, clear and bright] like the sun, and His clothing became as white as light.’ (Matt 17:2 AMP)

Jesus’ Heavenly glory was unveiled for a short time. They were astonished—and their perspective of Jesus was forever changed.

Sometimes, even our past history with God can limit our understanding of who Jesus is. It is as though our eyes are covered by lenses. As 2017 begins, let the Holy Spirit anoint your eyes, lift off the lenses of past encounters, and give you a fresh glimpse of Him.

2017: The Year Ahead

Happy New Year from Melbourne, Australia!

As we step into 2017—for many of us, a new era—Jesus invites us to encounter Him in a fresh way. I have written about this in my recent blog article: Prophetic Word for 2017: Captivation, Focus and Miracles, and I encourage you to read it and pray about what that means for you personally.

And now, a warm welcome to the new home page of Enliven Ministries: a part of the David McCracken Ministries family. We are still in formative stages, so keep an eye out as we add new pages and information to this site during the coming months. In the meantime, do join us on our temporary information page, which you will find here.
